Our mission
Located in the heart of downtown Montreal, Le Cabaret Jazz L'Entracte is a nonprofit performance venue whose mission is to create a space dedicated to jazz, on a human scale, where artistic quality, connection and accessibility are at the heart of the experience.
More than a simple performance venue, L'Entracte is a space for sharing, creation and living dialogue between artists and audiences. Through a rich, demanding and aesthetically open programming, we celebrate the diversity of jazz in an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, supporting emerging and established artists alike, and offering everyone professional and respectful performance conditions.
Founded by passionate lovers of music and culture, L'Entracte actively contributes to the cultural vitality of Montreal and the reach of its jazz scene. Because jazz is an art of the present, and L'Entracte is here to keep that flame alive, night after night, in the heart of the most beautiful city in the world.

We envision a Montreal where jazz reclaims the place it deserves: that of a living music, shared and accessible to all. L'Entracte aspires to be that refuge where you push open the door without pretension and where something in the air catches you immediately, that particular excitement found only in venues that truly love what they do.
